830 is to be found on the North yorkshire Moors Railway, being noiw owned by the Essex Locomotive Group. She is to be restored as 830 (a condition of sale). It would seem that 841, the groups other S15, has frames that are beyond repair. 841 will therefore act as donor to 825 (yet another S15 they have) which is effectively just arolling chasis. 841 will also doate to 830's restoration. The restoration proces has not yet begun
Her condition is then as the profile above suggests, namely rough!. She has a 6 wheel tender (ex of 929 Malvern. This also requires extensive restoration, though at least the snowplough tank has been stripped off.
